About the Instructor: Catherine Larose

Catherine Larose is the President of Future Oceans International, and a creative professional with over 18 years of experience in marketing. Currently serving as the Marketing Lead for Alberta Women Entrepreneurs, Catherine's career began as the National Head Office Manager for the Cecchetti Society of Canada, and later as the Editor-In-Chief of Luxe by Calgary Bride Magazine. She has produced many large-scale fashion shows, musical performances, tech conferences, and other public events in Canada, the USA, China, and Ireland. Catherine has also worked with several not-for-profits and charities, including the Canadian Space Society, the School of Alberta Ballet, and Natural Talent Alliance (NTA), an organization she co-founded in 2016. In 2017, Catherine co-founded Future Oceans International, which became a non-profit foundation in 2023, and advocates for ocean conservation through art activations.
