Future Oceans International invites artists and designers to apply to be part of our upcoming wearable art exhibitions and fashion shows.
The next event is scheduled to take place on September 19th, 20th and 21st, 2024 in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking wearable art designs that showcase the theme of ocean conservation and sustainability. We encourage submissions that utilize ocean plastic and other recycled materials.
Artists with successful submissions must provide one wearable art (complete look), and 5 eco-fashion looks, and will receive approximately 5 minutes of runway time. Professional models, hair design and makeup design will be provided.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work alongside other renowned artists and designers on a world class runway and exhibit. The exhibition will be a unique opportunity to present your work to a diverse audience of approximately 60,000 people, and be part of an innovative and thought-provoking project.
Deadline to apply is May 20th, 2024. Designers will be notified by June 1st.
Participating designers will receive free access to professional photography of their models, will also receive media attention, and may be contacted for interviews.
